Karel Prud'homme
Karel is the Mandl lab animal science technician (shared with Dr. Melichar's lab). She contributes to the proper functioning and maintenance of the mouse colony by conserving the numerous existing strains and genotyping the mice when necessary.
Outside of the lab, Karel has a passion for growing rare tropical plants. She also enjoys traveling to practice scuba diving. When she's not taking care of mice, Karel gives her love to her 3 cats and her little chihuahua at home.
