Sam Jamaleddine

After successfully defending his Ph.D. thesis in October 2023 (under the supervision of Dr. Anmar Khadra), Sam is now a post-doctoral researcher in the lab. A computational modeller by training, his interest in the interplay between theoretical and experimental immunology led him to begin performing wet-lab work as a visiting student in the Mandl Lab. Recently, Sam's research has focused on T cell heterogeneity and antigen-specificity in the context of infection, with a focus on T-cell mediated selection pressures driving viral evolution within and between host organisms. When not hopping between two labs, Sam enjoys playing piano, eating out and watching a good movie.
